The Fiscal Year of the Society shall be from January 1 to December 31. (Bylaws IV A)

That means that dues paid for the upcoming year will give you a membership from Jan. 1st to Dec 31st. Dues paid after Jan. 1st will pay for a membership until the next Jan. 1st. Dues are $10/year for a single membership, $15 for a dual membership. There is no pro-rating from the date of payment or the number of months left in the year.
